Cape Forchu Light House Kit Cape Forchu Light House is a light house collectible. Primitive light house rug hooking pattern recommended for the beginner and primitive rug hooker.  You will require a hoop or frame to hold the design on burlap. Colorful and fun project to rug hook.  The original light was build in 1840 to guide sailing vessels into Yarmouth harbour. The current light house was built in1962. The keepers house has a small museum and  is open to the  public. Beautiful colorful Cape Forchu light house sitting on high cliffs is a seascape not to be missed.Take the Yarmouth exit off highway 101 or highway 103, turn into Yarmouth, follow Starrs Road to Main Street, or turn left at the Ferry Terminal and drive along Water Street to the end.  You will see the Horse Monument.  Turn left to Vancouver Street and watch for the "Yarmouth Light" sign.  turn left on route 304 south for 2.1 km (1.3 mi.) Keep to the left, drive 11 km (7 mi) to Yarmouth Bar, and continue to Cape Forch.  Beautiful scenic drive so have your camera ready. Enjoy the guided tours and gift shop. Item #L003K Price $52.00
