Margaretsville Light House Kit

The Margaretsville Light House rug hooking kit is simple and easy to do. The kit is a great way to see if you would enjoy the fiber art experience. To add a special touch, finish the oval with a rope braid and hang it by the same rope. Recommended for the beginner and primitive rug hooker. Margaretsvilles light was built in 1859. Nearby is a cliff known Peter's Point, where wrecker Peter Barnes fell to his death 20 years after he had lured a schooner to her tragic end at that very spot. On Route 101 take exit 18 or 18A (Middleton), and go north to route 221, then left onto Route 362 for 9.3 km (6mi) to Margaretsville. Park across the road from the Community Hall. Enjoy.
