| The primitive Fort Point light
house rug hooking kit is an easy inexpensive way to try rug hooking. This yarn kit is complete but you will require a hoop
or frame to hold tightly the light house picture design on burlap. Finish the edges with rope if desired as this
adds a special nautical touch. Liverpool's distinctive "hunchbacked" light is the third-oldest surviving
light house in Nova Scotia and marked the town's inner harbour from 1855. The light house and attached dwelling have been
restored to show life in the era of the last keeper. Climb the light house for a view of Liverpool Bay, and try your
hand at the crank fog horn. The museum is staffed by interpreters in period costume and features Maritime and Privateering
history. |
