The light house rug hooking design is printed on quality burlap.  Suitable for the beginner to the advanced rug hooker. The Roseway Light House, as the locals call it, is located on McNutts Island at the mouth of Shelburne harbour on the south shore of Nova Scotia. Cape Roseway is the site of an early-established light (1788). This is a beautiful island to visit during the summer.  Lots of walking trails and the ocean on one side, sweeps in a horseshoe shape. Wild irises are plentiful in season.  As you enter Shelburne Harbour this light house can be seen on your left, high amongst the rocks. Take Exit 26 off Hwy 203 to Shelburne Tourist Center for information on day trips to McNutts Island. 
Approximately 5 mile walk to light house throught beautiful old trees.  Wild sheep will be grazing away. Tours can be arranged in the summer months.
