Boars Head Light House

This rug hooking patterns makes for a fine light house collectible. Primitive design and easy to complete. At  Boars head light house there is a loud automatic fog horn which can be activated at any time, even in sunshine. Never walk directly in front of fog horn emitters, as hearing damage may result. Please obey all warning signa and beware of the dangers of cliffs, rocks and tides. You will find the Boars Head Lighthouse atop dramatic cliffs near Tiverton, on the Digby Neck overlooking the restless waters of the Bay of Fundy.  This light was established in 1864 to guide local shipppng into Petit Passage.Take Route 217.
Boars Head: turn right at Tiverton.  At 0.2 km (0.1mi.) there is a gate, which is usually closed.  Park and walk to the light.  Use caution and enjoy this outstanding view of cliffs, sky, water and light house.
