"PRIMITIVE FLORAL" hooked by Ann Amberg

Primitive Floral - Designed for the beginner.

Let us discuss Primitive Floral

1. We see a simple large pattern in an oval mat, size 26” x 20” designed for beginners or folks that prefer primitives.

 2.  The colours harmonize with each other and the pattern has colour balance and is bright and happy.

Options open to you:

1.  The pattern is stamped on primitive burlap.  It can be hooked easily in a 6 cut (or a larger cut depending on what size loops you want) in strips of wool.

2.  This pattern can be hooked in 3 ply, 4 ply, and 5 ply wool yarns.

3.   This picture is an example only.  You can choose the colors of your choice to match your room.  You can choose softer colors.  In this particular case you can choose a darker background.

4.  For the beginner I would suggest you outline the pattern in black and fill in with your chosen colors.  Advanced hookers could apply fine shading.

5.  The most important part of fibre art is for you to relax and enjoy your own creativity and make it special for you.
